How to Organize Figma Files When Your Brain Won't
My Figma files look like a tornado hit a library.
ADHD brains don’t naturally organize.
You start files with good intentions, forget to name pages, duplicate frames everywhere, lose components in the mess.
Every file cover just says “Untitled.”
Emoji prefixes force organization.
Name your pages:
🎨 Design
📐 Components
🗑️ Archive
🚧 WIP.
Can’t forget because they’re visual. Your brain actually notices them.
Action step:
Open one Figma file right now. Rename the pages with emojis. Watch your brain finally know where stuff lives.
P.S. - If you’re new here, welcome. I write about UI/UX design, ADHD, navigating career changes, and the uncomfortable conversations we’re not having in the games industry. The stuff that matters but nobody wants to talk about.
If that sounds interesting, subscribe below. I send these out sporadically (because… ADHD), but when I do write, I promise it’s worth reading.
